Perry Lakes (or Reabold Hill anyway) is also going to be a dull place to orienteer. I tried getting that back on the list of venues this year but a $250 charge plus the fact we are not allowed to attach controls to anything (trees, seats, signs) makes it hard going so I scrapped it.

Subi Centro could be good when they finish building new bits as it is reasonably complex for Metro at least and maybe Nav Dash although it is a bit of a regular grid. At least there won't be any cafe terraces to avoid!

I suggested running the ASC at Subi Centro in 2014 on the assumption that it would be finished by then. Hah!

Yeah we're still waiting on that one. Do you think Subi council would let us run there if there's the possibility an orienteer might trample someone else's dog out for a walk (off lead)?

There might just happen to be a rampant chihuaha that they've been wanting to get rid of but didn't dare because the little old lady owner had threatened a council officer with her umbrella. What better way to neutralise it than allow it to be trampled by an orienteer and make it look like an accident?

Don't talk about Lola like that or you will have Chas on to you!

Lola's not a real dog.

WA's running the Aus Sprint in 2019 - will it be ready by then?

Probably not. It's been ongoing for 21 years already, why rush it?
