If things get really dire, you can try a bark collar. We used one on Mika when he went through a barking phase at night - worked well! It sprayed compressed air in his face when he barked, and stopped instantly.
Interesting - maybe we'll try that on AdventureDog some day so he could come with us to a pet-friendly hotel without driving the other guests nuts!
I feel for poor BazingaDog though. His leg is shaved bare and it's full of new hardware. I would cry too. I just need to convince 'Bent to take him to the living room in the morning. It is tough to control him so he doesn't jump up if a squirrel passes by the window so it is easier to leave him shut in the bedroom with me. But that isn't working.
This morning he tried to jump up toward the beautiful Harvest Moon. No jumping allowed!!
Breaking my heart. Poor pooch
Poor baby, such a long road to recovery :(
His life will be awesome if he rehabs properly. I wish we could explain that to him! It's hard to stick to the doctor's orders when he's so sad but we have to keep reminding ourselves that he'll be a lot sadder if his knee doesn't heal well.
