Good thing you weren't out on Saturday otherwise you would have been cleaned up by the Nanga Challenge participants. I went past several tapes on the western hill - all still there. Grant also made a 'new' track on top of the hill but it's so dicey I won't even consider mapping it (it's not really there).

That explains it - there was a barrier (2 star pickets and orange mesh) across the track to our assembly area with a small notice that mentioned an event. Drove past it on the way in but it was gone when I left.

Yeah they had heaps of those out around the course on Saturday to stop drivers getting in. DPaW mentioned that we could do the same but my course goes into areas that drivers will be in and we cannot stop them, plus we'd have to block off several entryways on both sides of the hill and on both hills. I don't think it's going to be an issue.

Yep - dodging cars and trail bikes is part of the fun, isn't it?

Never seen a trail bike out there so it's just the cars and the thousands of people we can expect on the Bibbulmun to worry about. Have you organised those marshals for each of the road/Bib Track crossings yet? I think we have twelve crossings so we need a similar number of marshals to warn the (extremely) occasional person that there might be a bike coming down the road in the next few minutes.
