I really like both of these dreams. So often dreams, as you say, have things going wrong in them. Might this reflect some feeling of hope in your life?

I don't know. I'm not so sure dreams lend themselves to interpretation; rather, I think they lend themselves to attempts at interpretation.

But I know how to interpret election results, and congratulations on your election to the BOD!

Well, thanks! I am especially excited about getting to work with Kris.

Barb, here is one thing to know about working with Kris that could be helpful: she likes coffee, alot (sic). How does that matter? Well, here's one tiny example, for illustrative purposes. Suppose you like coffee almost as much as Kris (though that is a tall order), and suppose you have volunteered to be Kris's secretary and the two of you are going to be working together in a setting for several hours, and the setting happens to be a table with 2 chairs, and coffee maker off to one side, with the chairs arranged so that the chairs and coffee maker are all in line, with the table interposed between the two chairs. And, finally, suppose that you are making odd numbered cups of coffee.

So, where do you sit? In an arrangement where there is a strong side chair and a weak side chair, if you want to have a prayer's chance of getting that last cup of coffee, it matters alot (sic) which chair you choose!

Instead of fighting over a meager coffee supply, I think we should hire a marketing person to go get us some more coffee, and then there will be plenty to go round.

You are underestimating the gravity of the coffee situation you are entering into.

You can have my coffee ration.

When you say alot (sic), are you talking about Phil-level alot (sic), or something more modest?

Or maybe instead of a ration, it's an alotment (sic).
