Have you guys already thought about what to do with graduating juniors into senior ranks?
Might be good to offer the 21/22yos the opportunity to travel with (and mentor) the younger ones.
We had a good discussion at the US team meeting about increased support for WUOC down the road. I think that's an excellent stepping stone. We talked about the US and Canada joining forces and paying for a shared team leader at WUOC in the future...
I think the idea of elevating WUOC might be a useful step. It doesn't help our financial situation, but I think keeping rising juniors engaged during those dark days of college is a really big deal. With all the good Erin is doing, it is no good if we have huge atrophy when kids graduate from the junior ranks.
Keep them engaged in international elite orienteering, and they may come back.
In an offline discussion, I think we need to discuss team selection/composition.
