It really was a great carnival :)

we got there in the end! we had some great feedback and it seems people liked the carnival, and getting to run on some different terrain (that didn't involve massive hills and head high grass), and seeing different parts of south east queensland.

it certainly didn't all go perfectly (and we came pretty close to some very major screw ups), but we got through without any course cancellations, and we're all still speaking to each other!

totally exhausted now, but nice to be just tired rather than tired and super stressed.

Yes thanks Anna!

It went better than I think any of us thought possible given the challenges faced in the lead-up. Not sure if everyone appreciates just how much involvement Anna had in this carnival - setter for one event, controller for two others and seriously involved in a fourth. Also not quite sure how she managed it on top of a job, but she did.

Good work - I enjoyed all the races! Enjoy watching some trashy tv :)

Yeah, take it easy and enjoy. I'm sorry I only got to run 2 days of the carnival but thought it was great. And, Queenslanders didn't seem as scary as I'd been groomed for 20+ years to expect :D

Hope your weekend of no commitments is going well! I really enjoyed the sprint and middle, two of the most enjoyable events I've ever run in. They're a credit to your course setting and controlling skills, and dedication to deliver fun and challenging races - I know how many different challenges had to be overcome to make it all happen. So a big thanks!
