I barely managed a yellow today, myself. Way to go, that's some tough terrain for an UL!

Looks like a lot of out and back doubling up on the same route. Was that more so a fact of your choice or dictated by the design?

Mostly course design. I prefer to avoid out and backs whenever possible. Big rains closed all the singltrack in the park so rain CPs were added. The final bike section was all ONB. Also a big trek ONB in the northern part due to a section being out of bounds.

I was actually referring to the QOC race.

I think it was just because we chose to take trails on a few of the long stretches rather than bushwhack 2 or 3k.
