Always a fantastic upperbody workout, and it definitely complements running/orienteering in that it requires balance, strength vs. endurance, speed, etc. Would recommend: Climbing lifetime sport! Jake and I did it, and it's just fun!
I agree! It's very cerebral, much like orienteering.
At this point alpine climbing is my main focus, with running and other workouts being cross-training.
I also did the climbing lifetime sport when I was at USMA and loved it. Very different from my other experiences with DPE haha!
