Well it is the beginning of a new month and a new quarter. And I'm sure all systems have to be ready to go on Monday morning to close 3rd Quarter or September's books.

Actually, this is the planning system, so we're really getting ready for a new year. All the projections need to be in by end of October.
This is just the way IT works. I suppose I could make the career switch to teaching now but I'd like to stay corporate until Yaya figures out where she's going to school. My current income might be required for a bit longer. At any rate, I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me too much.

Well I admire your ability to stay in touch with the important things in life. And weigh your options.
But I'm sorry to see you drop out of competitive racing. I really enjoyed the Race Reports...vicariously. :-)
