Hill repeats are great. Terrain hill repeats are even better - try the hillside behind the dental clinic, I used to do a lot of terrain intervals there (just set your Gramin to beep at you at whatever time/distance you're working on). The area is easily accessible from the cadet area, so it's a good option for team training as you start hitting the Daylight Savings Time barrier.

And getting enough sleep, good nutrition, and hydration are huge - even the best trained athlete can be undermined by the schedule university students (and especially cadets) keep. You can't always control practice, but you can probably make small steps on these 3 every day that will help. Now, if you could just avoid those Thayer weeks...

Thank you for the advice! I'll definitely try out those terrain hill repeats; they sound like a lot of fun. And getting enough sleep is probably the most difficult of those three to achieve, but I'm working on it!
