My dentist at one point had a hygienist who I did not care for. I made my next appointment and said I wanted somebody other than Abby, and they complied. I later heard that Abby asked for me to be switched back to her, but they didn't do it.
I've had a number of hygienists there over the years, due to staff turnover, and it is interesting how the younger ones often have some new fad technique for doing the cleaning.
I have never had a dentist that used a hygienist...
Very fond of my hygienist, been going to the same one for a long time. Very competent and caring, and a nice enough person I would be happy to visit her whether I was having my teeth done or not.
Ditto what Chatlie said, dozens of miles to the west-northwest. Our hygienist Marianna is friendly, competent, and seems to enjoy her job.
Is this woman the only hygienist in the office?
Yup, small operation. Dentist, his assistant, hygienist, receptionist. Plan B is to go elsewhere.
