Didn't you just convince her to lace up a year ago or so?

Yep. It's been pretty serious business for her since I paced her during her first official race a year and a half ago. She finished today feeling pretty good. Not the time she hoped for, but she did well. Middy and I chased her all over Chicago. We cheered her on from about 8 different spots along the course. I'm pretty sure I have an intimate knowledge of the Chicago transit system now. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out where we could catch her next, then figure out how to take transit to get there in time. Great memories to last a lifetime :)
