Was just reading about this yesterday.
What stuff do you actually need to make it useful? (The article I read mentioned cadence sensors among some gear that I don't have)
A very expensive indoor trainer that changes resistance as the gradient changes or when you're drafting. You can use a standard trainer, but without Watts it wouldn't be remotely as realistic. You don't need cadence. Your existing ANT+ stick and extension cord - to pick up signal from trainer / cadence if you want it.
5 days in a row - you'll be a cyclist again in no time!
Do you have an approximate timeframe on getting back on your feet (and running)?
Unfortunately no time frame. My pin-point sore medial heel plantar fascia tear is still sore if I spend too much time on my feet or don't tape it. I'm hoping for Feb / Mar maybe, it seems to be a very very slow progress thing. And all the more annoying as I still can't work out why it happened.
The answer's in your profile. ;)
