Well I'm very glad you posted that. I had it as next weekend in my diary. Oops. Particularly since I would've turned up for the GTR a Friday too early......
You seem very ready for this race - hope the final 2 weeks go well

Glad to be of assistance! I don't think I'm very ready at all! I've been running only 4 times since the Kerry Way UltraLite and my legs haven't felt very springy at all. Knees aching today after yesterday's efforts. The next two weeks will be lots of S&C and very little running. The Mournes could cripple me and that would be a shame after such a good summer!

I may see you at the GTR but will be travelling from Cork after work so I think we'll be arriving quite late.

You've got the miles in your legs. You'll be on plenty of steep stuff, especially on the return, so it's testing of course, but you're very able for it. Remember to smile for the camera :)

I'm speechless. That race looks epic. Enjoy!

I have a score to settle with it after I wussed out of doing it last year, at the last minute. Epic, yes. Enjoyable... maybe in a sadistic sort of way.

Does Colm understand any other kind of enjoyment?
