even faster now, and not even an official race. what is going on?

Well like I said in my post, I jumped in as a bandit, and was swept along by the fast-moving crowd. Distance is only approximate; it includes 7 exact miles on the marathon course, then my estimate of the mileage back to my house afterward. Time was taken accurate to the nearest minute.

When you run as slow as I do, getting more refined, accurate measurements seems unnecessarily anal. :-)

well, your recent race was faster...so perhaps this really was too. at any rate you are having a good time of it.

Yes. And the nice thing about it is......I'm out there, 'having a good time,' twice as long as anyone else!
