Or they're just fishing for more CVs....

Are you a technically strong accountant?

It's probably an even worse sign if I just got a phone call from another recruiter about the same job almost a week after my interview!

Lol. Get another interview and tell them to just give you the job already!!

Ahh well I didn't get that one either. Seems they're looking for someone permanent (even though it's advertised as a three month contract with a 'view to permanent') and I gave them the impression that I wouldn't be hanging around if I got into either the ADF or FF in six months' time. I can't tell them what they want to hear if they can't advertise what they want properly!

I'll never got a job at this rate if I have to keep waiting for ADF to fob me off.

Think of it like finding your ideal woman tRicky, you probably haven't told Tash that you're hanging out for a better offer, because if you did she'd slap you in the face and you'd be constantly commenting on cycling women's backsides again. So treat your potential job similarly, hook up with the 3-month contract and then IF a better offer eventuates, THEN you can choose. Elementary logic really.

I did that with the previous interview - it was full time so I didn't tell them about the ADF or FF - but they wanted someone with more management experience. I guess I got them the wrong way around. Only reason I even mentioned it last week was because the HR girl mentioned this was a three month contract and so what length of contract role was I looking for? I told her 6-8 months because of the other reasons.

On an unrelated topic, I did find that hanging around the Joondalup cinema gives a good view of the local wildlife showing their wares. Could potentially explain all the 'no loitering' signs about the place.
