We're OK thanks!! Yes - just sideswiped. Some minor paintwork and metalwork damage - my side of car (rockman was driving) - but car has less than 4 400km and 4 months old! grrrr.

Oh that is horrible!! Glad you guys are okay. New cars seem to be trouble magnets sometimes don't they? Altho I'm just a terrible driver all the time... :P

Not cool. Glad you managed to chase down the truck driver and get him to admit fault.

Fault wasn't on his agenda - lots of F words were however! And there were a few similar scratches along the side of the van - funny that!

It's very stressful having an accident. Glad you're both OK. Shame about the new car - l've found them to be accident magnets too. Make sure you get it repaired back to its original condition.

3 of my 4 new cars (OK in over 45 years of ownership) have had scrapes within the first 4 months and everyone one of them was not my/our fault. Safety is obviously paramount and in reality I'm just whinging (no I'm not). Son checked it out yesterday but need to go to repairers soon. Specialists this week so awaiting clear (mental) air.

I would have thought damaged cars come with being an orienteer! Between Tash and I, we've totaled two cars and done more damage to those same two on five separate orienteering trips. Well maybe a flat battery isn't doing 'damage' but it was the thought that counted.
