The Thomas Rd/Patterson Rd route is not great, but then neither Kwinana or Rockingham councils seem to be cycling friendly. Eventually they may put a path in alongside the railway.

Best option, but a bit longer is to stay on the freeway path to Safety Bay Rd, which has a reasonable bike lane with not too much rubbish. From there you can get straight on the train back at Warnbro Station or ride into Rockingham either on quieter roads or the coast path.

Better still is give boganville the heave-ho and ride all the way to Mandurah!

The exhibition was good and the foreshore felt like a nice place to spend an afternoon in the sun.

That's because it was too light for the bogans to come out. The sun would have clashed with their black tops and pants.

There was a really great signing group of people with good harmony near the Merchant. Who we presume were African refugees, but could have been born and bread Australians!, in an impromptu choir on the cafe strip.

Nothing wrong with the place it had a really good vibe and would go back any time, just like Cottesloe but with more eateries

Were they cooking the bread then signing it or writing into the dough and watching it rise?

There was a born and bred Aussie singing for his supper in Murray St Mall yesterday. He would have also accepted:
-a dollar
-ciggies

What he would not accept:
-orienteering map
-Chinese Asians
