it was 50F, and saw a biker headed the other way. I was thinking about how brave he was to be out at those temps. I walk a heck of a lot slower than you (or he) bike.

My grandfather and his brothers were named William, Vernon, Victor, Walter, and Wilfred (I don't know in what order). I've long observed that their names were probably pronounced as if they started with the same letter, but I didn't realize that it was literally true.
