I've never been there myself but my wife visited in 1984 with the orienteering tour group that travelled across the country. They were then invited to sing swedish songs at an old folks home...

I'd say it is still that. We ate at a Swedish restaurant and there were quite a few
Swedish-catering stores. A look at the phone book might have "settled" it:-).

I know the VCOA has had some annual meets there.
