I didn't get a sticker either where I voted in a car dealership. But the 2 people at the bus stop with me, who voted at my church school down the street, had stickers. I expressed my disappointment to my friend at work, and he made a nice "I didn't get a sticker, but I VOTED" sign. I hung it up in my office!
Isn't it funny how attached we are to those little stickers? Everyone I know wears them, including the young Millennial guys at work.
I love them! They celebrate the privilege we have in being able to vote, one that many now and in the past didn't have. Hopefully the closeness of this election and the sobering result will spur those who stayed home to cherish and exercise that right from now on.
