I use AP to track injury and relation to activity, too. My docs have found that quite helpful.

Good luck with dry needling. I had it done in my abs (and I hate needles) and found it helpful in relieving symptoms, but just didn't get at my root cause so I had to keep going back. Hopefully a good PT will help so the treatments work together to make you healthy again!
