Was it an accident or by that time you'd already had enough. Now I know, but I could certainly understand if it had been the latter.

The steep, slippery slopes take all my attention. So the brain doesn’t have much left for navigational planning. I figured it out. The skip at 10 followed a long hill climb to 9 causing cognitive disfunctionality.
