of winter riding boots. Since I purchased a pair 2 winters ago, cold weather riding has been way less daunting. Cold damp feet will end a ride very quickly. Totally worth the investment in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. If you don't mind, what did you go with, would you get them again?

Tempted by the Wolvhammers, since BNM likes to bike in the COLD

I have northwave boots. Paired with Woolie Boolies and my covers I was just fine in the 30s I think it could go lower. But I got mine for like $85...ha not sure how I pulled that off. I also have canari tundra tights. And merino base layer.

I bought the Lake MXZ 303 two winters ago about a month before christmas on a really good holiday sale for $225. Looks like they're running around $220 at several online stores right now. I only need to wear one pair of socks normally and maybe throw in some toe warmers if it's in the teen's or lower. I hear the Wolvhammers are really good too, but can run at least $100 more. And yes, I'd buy them again.
