For all those times you said "stomach the bar, Hermes" in Spain.
Hah, nice work. I remember back in the days when I, like you, was trying out Fromme on my hardtail kona. didn't go so well. but I do remember taking that mountain highway all the way around to grouse (there was a fork that went up to the peak of Fromme that I didn't take) and then hike-a-biking up the grouse ski hill to take the gondola down (lame, I know, I think my excuse was there wasn't enough rubber left on my brake pads to ride down).
What r brake pads?
... sounds like something Wilderness could use?!?
.. too soon???? :-(
:-)
maybe a little...
Its definitely possible to ride right up to the top of grouse... I made it up there in first year and was riding my bike alongside people trying to stretch out the final days of ski season.
Espresso is a wicked trail... nice and fast
I hear stories like 'the hard tail Kona' all the time. I then ride the trails and wonder how that can be possible without walking 60% of it! Indeed, I've got more exploring to do up there as it's so close.
