Were those races in the blue segment bush or urban?

Does the blue include this one? (Cause that map was, and still is, crap.)

Sorry simmo I have absolutely no recollection of that map!

Why'd you pick that one - are we just pulling races out of a hat?

Simmo's right - isn't that North Ledge in disguise?

Trust two West Aussies to tie for 17th. I don't even know that Raberg guy.

I mentioned it because it was a forest map. I ran the Sledge that year, same course as you and there were at least 3 dodgy controls due to mapping issues. Sorry I can't find a digital copy.

Ah ok. Yeh not every forest sprint made it into that blue wedge of the pie... So the answer's no simmo ;)

North Ledge?

Fred Jacoby is around about where North Ledge is. The only time I've ever run there was on a M standard course during a Boundless AR event so I've not really had the pleasure of it.

ha turns out i had it.

still don't remember. must have been good ;)

Very tricky, Fred Jacoby is the area SE of the pipeline. North Ledge is NW of it.

My favourite part of that course is how two separate legs run straight through the finish.

We must have had to battle our way through a half dozen spectators on those legs.

Given how many WA entrants were on course (six), it could have even been double that number!
Nov 28, 2016 11:42 AM #
wait, was this it

The hair looks right! Can't remember if you had a mo in 2003.

All of those half dozen spectators at Fred Jacoby would have been sledgers looking for some clues on where they might have to go when it was their turn.

Gee those three kids on the left look really keen - any of them likely to be World Champs by now?

Too much grass to be anywhere in the general area of the Perth hills.
