I feel like we are kindred food spirits. I slipped some over the holiday, but I've been trying to limit myself to eating one time in the evening - whatever I want, but it has to be all at once. And hopefully before 9 PM, although some days (like when I ride right after work) that just isn't possible. And then when I want a snack, I try to think about whether I'm really hungry. Usually I'm not. It's just become a habit to just keep going back to the fridge for one thing after another.
I'm working on a hot cup of decaf tea...or three...in mid-afternoon and on my way to bed as a good alternative. The weather's cold, I'm visiting family, and the temptation to eat (and drink) something else is catching up with me.
It must be time to catch a hop somewhere warmer and easier to go out and play. ;-)
