You can make an attackpoint event. I do that for things like double pole tests:

Gives you more data, and easier to compile. Though you may have some better approach already figured out.
For the hills, Strava does it for me pretty well.
For this, I'd have to remember to split it at certain points (I don't) or go through the janky GPS files. This works for me, but thanks for the suggestion!
Ooh! Download excel file, filter by vert. Easy-peasy!
Less fun than reading through old logs, though.
