well I read you log -- did not look at your track though but it was not hard to guess, and I know how steep that climb is :)

Yes I am sure I missed #9, but at #5 I looked around for a while, it was starting to get dark.

Mr Wonderful:
#5 was higher than Igor typical hangs them, but is sort of Steve standard (sort of downed/broken tree that is horizontal at a height of 1.5 m instead of lower 1 m meter high branch if memory serves??). So I think my eyes were too low, plus it was more visible (I think?) from N than S. One of those spots that'd be really easy with a full size flag, where I expected I'd see a streamer as easily as a flag, but for some reason is more subject to occlusion. I did the same thing bombing around Maybury, super open area but I stopped with a tree between me and the tape while I wondered why I was crazy! :)

I took it as a reminder I should stop doing by drive by style orienteering, and should instead run to circle center then do a quick look see. But I was slightly concerned I was one reentrant off after my swamp crossing so I thought sweeping would ensure I'd pick up the right spot in case I was off.

Can we get livelox to give a loud chime if you hit the registration area? Then we wouldn't even need tape!

Yes it's hung above head level and easier to see from the N. I missed this morning by taking a more southern and lower elevation approach.

Sounds like you want to create your own improved livelox and app. Just send me the kickstarter link :)

Did you guys see a nice water hole near #9? I should map it.

MIclimber:
No, but wasn't looking for it either. It's east I assume?

It's visible in aerial imagery
