1) Can I assume these are all beetled damaged (and dead) trees getting blown over? Just trying to picture the scene.
2) Who are all these chain saw folks? Do they have a national governing body? Is their chain saw activity sanctioned and they have a chain saw consultant?
1) It is no longer safe to assume anything, and there are no longer any facts, just beliefs. If you believe something is true, that is better than any fact anyway. Facts can be so biased!
2) Nobody has seen or heard the chain saw peoples, at least not anyone that I know, so the most prevalent theory is it could be some secretive cult, that only operates when fogs appear. The fogs would of course make them more difficult to spot, and would muffle the sound of their chain saws.
A third question -- who's going to win the big game tonight?
The game is underway, and I haven't checked the score, but I have to believe BYU will win. Football is a man's game, and BYU really does have an advantage with athletes that average several more years in age.
I will not broach the question of what kind of game rhythmic gymnastics is.
How can you be so sure that it's chainsaws? Maybe a vigorous crew with a two-man crosscut saw, which would be relatively silent? Or the rare Western Narrow-Jaw Pine beaver?
