Hey! I've got a Spanish friend who has just finished up a stint in Australia making maps and is interested in making maps around the US.
Do you know of any projects that might be suitable for him? He specializes in mapping karst.

What is his visa situation like? The major stumbling block for some clubs with hiring foreign mappers is the visa application. I would reach out to NEOC (Ian Smith), OCIN (Matthew Robbins), and some of the other clubs that have recently used foreign mappers to see what their experience has been. I know that QOC has repeatedly chosen to use local mappers instead, so I am not sure it would be easy to convince them, but possibly worth a shot, especially if his work is worth the effort!
