I saw Children of Bodom in Philly last weekend :) We were just right of center stage, on the rail! I'm not a fan of the growling vocals of these death metal bands, but the fast, technical riffs are awesome. At a live show it all blends together, so it wasn't too bad. I lost one of my earplugs but fortunately had spares! I need to get a leash for those things.
It was a fun show. Three opening acts which went on for 2 hours before Bodom hit the stage. Their set was lamentably short for a headliner though. The first band (from Canada) had a xylophone!
"This is a song...about a lake..." berrroowww, derrr derowwww, reeeeeeeeeeeeorrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
