We went the wrong way. Mine wasn't 100m and I didn't "decide" to do it, just wasn't exactly sure where I was.
One ways are hard to police and I don't think we should use/have them in events where the outcome is important.
Yeah I know yours probably wasn't intentional. For mine I had thought the yellow at 217 led all the way to the control so I could ride that, turn around and ride the one way back but sadly it was pale (unrideable) yellow rather than bright yellow.
If I had thought about it a few seconds longer, I should have headed back east from 224 (as Steve did) and ridden in the correct way up Snakes n Ladders and through the middle of the map from there but my brain doesn't work that way once it has made up its mind what it is going to do.
From memory both the Qld and Vic middle distance champs this year had one way tracks in them and I know for a fact (at least) one of the top performers went the wrong way and as usual a lot of people unknowingly did so since I saw them. I'm drawing a map at the moment that has one way tracks but they're becoming prevalent where there are areas of single track.
