Tough dilemma! Maybe it would help to ask, which event it is more likely you will be able to attend for the next 5 years?

Tough question! I'm leaning towards sprint O, and then Penn Relays.......

Vancouver Sprint Camp is my favorite event every year (this year will be my 10th)! If there wasn't Sprint Camp, there wouldn't be SART.

It's hard for me to compare Sprint Camp vs. SART because I'm a participant at one and organizer for the other, but I think Sprint Camp is mostly better. There's more orienteering (10 sessions vs 6, 3 days vs 2). There's more variety (individual races with staggered starts, mass starts, and heat starts, a relay, and several trainings). And there's more community. In addition to the races and trainings, there are also group dinners with presentations, coaching, swimming/hot tubs, and billeting with the locals. So it's a really great community event all around.

SART does only one thing better: the weather! Some people like the tournament format better, but that's really just an opinion.
