US Nationals in Hartford this week. Tried go watch the first rounds thinking you might have changed the sport. Perfect weather - rain and about freezing with lovely muddy grounds and a nice ride up and down the levee to make interesting.

I'm headed up north to NH or Maine (depending on who has good snow, or I should say who still has good snow) for a lot of skiing this weekend. Probably Jackson, maybe Sugarloafish?

George, isn't it a fun race to watch? The ultimate spectator sport! Alas, not for me, it's definitely ski season now.

Ari, CSU will be heading to Gunstock or Waterville. I'll be leading them. I'm less of a weekend warrior than you, I have no need to do 8 hours in two days, would rather do a quality interval session and one OD.

Probably a wise decision. I'm going to be the ultimate WW in Chicago for a few weeks so I'm trying to maximize snow time (maybe a bad idea?). If Gunstock kept their base it was excellent there, but that's iffy. Probably check Jim's log …

Hartford is taking it in big time. Front page pictures and full articles each day so far. A local kid has won the nationals the last four years for a neat twist.
