Discussion: Patagonian snow

This brings back memories. Our Patagonia Adventure Race finished about 40km west of here, coming in across the mountains from the north. We had heavy blizzard conditions crossing these mountains - in February! Our sunglasses got used for something at least. One of the best moments in my AR career.

Brilliant Nic! Those mountains West of us (Darwin Range I think?) looked remote and wild... off limits to the public in general though I think. There have been many moments on this trip where the Patagonia Expedition Race has become a very tempting prospect. But I'd prefer heading back here with some permits for the properly wild areas and have a little expedition of my own :)
