This will be a great exposure opportunity for orienteering in Canada. ParticipACTION is the government agency with the mandate to encourage more Canadians to be physically active. Canada turns 150 in 2017 (and Orienteering Canada turns 50). PartcipACTION created a list of 150 physical activities that all Canadians should try. They are challenging Canadians to do as many of the 150 activities as possible. ParticipACTION announced the list today and orienteering is one of the activities.
There are more details to come but for today we are looking to spread awareness that Orienteering is on the list. Upcoming... Orienteering Canada is receiving some funding from ParticipACTION to create some resources to help people put on simple orienteering events and how to create simple maps. And ParticipACTION will be helping to promote May 24th in particular as a day for Canadians to try orienteering (which also happens to be World Orienteering Day and in the middle of Canada's National Orienteering Week).

Is there any way to see what's on the list without registering? (I looked for one, but I might have missed something.)

Looks like there are eight that I don't know what they are, and a few others where I'm not sure.
