it's not a race! think social training run.
the year i did it i bought a folding chair and a couple blankets. really nice to wrap up in between laps. cars are kinda close but plenty of room at HQ to set up a little station.
yeah, I'm treating it as a long training day. or at least, I'm trying to.... :) when something starts hurting or freezes off, I'll stop. Biggest concern is staying warm between laps, so the chair and blanket idea is good info.
what about going slow w walk breaks, then spending 5 minutes at the most at the start finish? isn't it harder to get going again after a long break?
Probably. I've no idea what to expect for a pace on the trail. I just want enough time between laps to eat and refill water bottle. Figure I'll need to adjust clothing as it warms all the way to 26. I am taking some blankets though...
