Fell? You never fall!

You must have struggled on that ice, even with the 'scratched up' grooming. Well get used to it. As an old guy, I fall all the time...even when walking on smooth sidewalks! And the bigger they are, the harder they fall!

The trick is to practice falling; when you feel yourself going down, rotate to take the fall on your delts and butt, not on your wrist, shoulder, knee or head!

Ha I don't know of anyone who can control their fall or they wouldn't do it. Soft snow not hard pack ice would of helped.

Yeah, well too bad about the shoulder. I guess when you're on skis and going down on ice, you don't have much chance to fall protectively. Hope it is just a momentary spasm, not a real tissue injury.
