The light in this set of photos is amazing - I particularly love the light and patterns and shadows in the 2nd one! The highest compliment in my family is when we look at a photo and say, "wow, that would be a great puzzle!" And I think that's true!

Thanks! You got me curious. Now that I store my photos in Smugmug, it's easy to order photo products. It turns out I can get a 252-piece, 10X14" puzzle for $40 Canadian. That's a small puzzle but 252 is a smaller number of pieces. Maybe I'll do that some time. :)

We've gotten quite a few from Jigsaw 2 Order. I used to make a collage of our best photos of the year, and then get a 1200 piece puzzle made for Stina for Christmas. They are expensive and take awhile to manufacture, but the quality has been excellent.

Here's the one from 2009.

Excellent idea!

I was hoping Smugmug could do Christmas cards, but they all seem to be silly templates, no option for blank folded cards with just your photo.

Shutterfly will make blank cards that just fold and we've had some made in the past that I was happy with. I suspect that snapfish does too though they do have all those crazy templates, too.

I am a big fan of Shutterfly, though I just use them to make photo books (digital scrapbooks, really). Not perfect, but pretty cool.

I need to look at some book formats. I was thinking that for our upcoming 21st anniversary, it might finally be time to put together a wedding photo album!

It's worth checking out both Snapfish and Shutterfly. I think Shutterfly tends to have a greater variety of products and layouts, but Snapfish can have greater customizability (and different options). Also, prices can vary substantially depending on who is having a sale.
