ShUOC intervals sessions used to be here (before I first moved to Sheffield so we're talking more than a decade ago) and they were moved for this very reason.
Needless to say it is one of the best urban O areas in the country - there is definitely a positive correlation between quality of sprint area and dodgyness of the neighbourhood.
Yeah I have run on the sprint-o map starting from Ponderosa but more to the South-West, including the hospital, is there more map to the North-West? I have often run around the park during the day but try and avoid it at night, it's a pity because it's quite nice for a short trot.
It's surround N and S by sprint areas. The bit to the N is much tighter and more technical than the southern bit - typical british council housing estate.
