That's a long drive for 1k of skiing! You must be desperate! Are you going up to Marquette early this year so you can get in a few decent k's that don't make you dizzy, going 'round 'n 'round? What the heck is 'overspray?'

Nevertheless it is amazing that with all the rain and warmth Lapham had any snow at all! Was that snowmaking equipment installed by the DNR? Would they consider doing the same at Parkside? Bong?

Greenbush was excellent today.
Overspray is from the snow guns...it was not sticky, but just can't get any glide from it.
Snowmaking there happens because of a lot of fund raising and volunteer work.
No it won't happen at bong if you don't have a base of volunteers willing to work, fundraiser etc to get it going. Lapham is a state park willing to accept help to a great trail system. Unfortunately southeast Wi is not much more north from chi town,
You get a few hours north it can make a world of difference.
