Thats the Variant I run, but I go bush earlier than you did, Beeline for Crusoe Res from the top of the hill, straight down the Gully

If you go bush earlier, its not the same variant...it was all about running my target distance of 13-14. And I would have except for something not on the plan. Apparently if I had used a fit bit I would have done 17k.

Yes, my FR did just under 15; the fitbit I ran with did over 18. It's all about having the right toys!

My phone over measures as well. 29.8 yesterday for the 27.9 run. Not as bad as a fitbit

My garmin is particularly parsimonious. It generally records less than Julie's when we do the same run. Same model too.

The particular model we use only has "smart" mode. Strangely, when I use this GPS and a Garmin eTrex on one second recording, the eTrex records a shorter distance.
