You can't make that stuff up :)
It was like reading new headlines about Trump and Russia.
Fake Log Entry @BarbJCampbell! Sad!
Good thing is was Sunday and not Saturday. I don't know what it was like down in the 'Balmy' south, but Haliburton was COLD on Saturday and beautiful Sunday. My biggest fear Saturday was getting wet during my snowshoe!
Loved reading it tho'!!! I found myself getting stressed out!
:) I had to bail on my late afternoon run today because it took 25 minutes to separate my Kevlar shoelace (a closed loop Salomon lace) from the Microspike using three different tools! Granted, if I'd started with the tool that finally worked, it would have been much quicker but I didn't expect it to be so difficult. I have no idea how the shoelace got into that tiny chain link but I had to partially open the loop in order to get it out without damage, and the metal didn't want to bend.
Oh wow, what a day! Funny reading it but I am sure it wasn't so during the race;)
It actually *was* funny at the time, except for my late start. Falling into an icy creek, then tying my own shoelaces together was totally laughable, given that I survived. :D
