Are you admitting you did some body checks on the downhill turns?
That probably would of been interesting. You had to assert yourself if you wanted to pass, but no body contact :-)
I remember at the Finn 5 there was lots of body contact running from the start to the first control. Not really a US thing though.
Skating in skiing came pretty natural for me. Just wish we had some damn snow here ugh!
Body contact, extended elbows - definitely a required strategy for large foot races like our annual Manchester Turkey day race with 15000 of your closest friends.
I've gone skiing with Soupbone. And on skis, he is a thing of beauty. Rock-steady. And able to zoom through elaborate contortions, jinking back and forth, and accelerating out of danger, to emerge way ahead of everyone else. Just like pro hockey players, he never falls!
