Edmund's entered so I'm going across to Dunsborough. Would anyone like to do the run leg (middle leg) and I'll swim and MTB?

I think I'm setting a NavDash that weekend.

Gee that's tempting. If there aren't any other takers I'll try twisting Penny's arm.

Is Penny keen to run in it? I don't think you should force her to.

You'd love that run Fletch - the first few k in particular suit orienteer types beautifully. Last year I overtook stacks of people - despite being near the front-ish after the swim - on that section, but as soon as it hit gravel single track the athletes came to the fore and I was overtaken by a similar number. A very long drive for you though!!!

Shhh. I'm ignoring the length of the drive.

Hah, I looked at the entry fee, about $200. Jam that on top of 700ks of fuel. I'll offer myself as a swimmer on the morning for a desperate team and if no takers, no worries. :-)

It's Rapid Ascent so anything less than $150 entry and you aren't getting value for money.

Ok. Training hasn't hit the expected lofty heights anyways.

I rest my case.

Run Larapinta entry fees

My favourite part is that locals get a 15% discount. Never mind the fact that it costs far more to get there as someone living outside of NT (like ridiculousness in airfares).
