Wow! No wonder your a sprinter:) And I thought I was a chocolate junkie...down to every third day, rotating between hot cocoa, goji cocoa energy bars, and chocolate chocolate chocolate. Ahhh!!
Possibly, although most of the evidence has pointed to modest endurance benefits from methylxanthines- offset by the undesirable tachycardia and hyper arousal effects. Regardless it was time to detox! Having just polished off a bar of toblerone, chocolate is the next frontier :-)
I'd agree I'm a chocolate junkie, too. Always easy to find/raid stashes at work. A smile and pleasant comment is all that's necessary. My caffeine status is "compromised" with cream and sugar and really doesn't go beyond 2 cups anyway.
