I have found that the webs stick better to a sweat band than to skin. So every now and then rip off the sweatband and your face is cleared of webs.
Good idea if you can tolerate a head band. Hate them with a passion. We were up there.
Proposed publicity for our first event of the season next weekend... "Brush away the cobwebs and get your mind back into orienteering". Actually, its not yet near the peak of webs in the late 90s.
