Wow, no princess. I'd be curled up on the trail in a fetal position I think. Amazing to podium with a sick teammate- good nav and fitness.

Great job!

I felt sorry for Dee... she looked o.k., but she was VERY quiet :-(

She is super tough! Even on a bad day, she's one of the strongest women I know, mentally and physically. Unfortunately, it was more suffering than fun for her but she kept pushing like a pro. After all, she made it through the Patagonian Expedition Race!

P.S. Lest there be any confusion, I blame our late arrival on poor planning and execution. We could have finished on time with our slightly reduced pace but we had to race smarter than we did and adjust our plan on the fly. We were outclassed by a bunch of teams who did a better job and deserved to beat us. Congratulations to them all!

Tough or stupid? Thanks for not saying stupid. I paid the price Sat. Night when things went downhill for me, then Sun morning due to dehydration I was still not in fine form. Thank goodness the grandparents were staying with us.

Always fun to race with Bash, and she was a rock star towing me! aka " dead weight Rispolie"

Great to see everyone.

Oooh, sorry to hear about Sunday. Yay for grandparents!

You were pulling me on the road run earlier in the race. We both had our moments, good and bad. Teamwork! :)
