That's like 4 strides??? Doesn't seem possible to start and stop in that distance AND maintain a 5:20 pace. Sounds like a lot of strain on the hammies, knees and ankles.
elite sprinters run the first 8 meters of a 100 at about 1.6 high, so why do I now get that THATS a 5:20 pace. Apparently my math mind in the midst of mini wind sprints is mush, but at least my legs are well-conditioned to straight line running and stopping. not so much to deviations from that norm.
